Posted

A group of women wearing pink dresses danced with a large paper mache Trump head.

They held signs with messages such as, "Corporations Are People."

The group is called CodePink. The group was founded in 2002 as a response to the war in Iraq.

"We oppose war in creative ways," laughs organizer, Alli McCracken. She explained their mission is to end U.S wars abroad. "Today we are the one percent," McCraken said. She gestured towards a dancing Trump, clad in a suit made of dollar bills.

The grassroots organization is led completely by women, but are not gender exclusive. In addition to ending wars and militarism they focus on supporting peace and human rights initiatives. The group utilizes satire and performance art.

A woman dressed in pink threw fake money in ironic support of the End Poverty Rally.
