A man was shot and killed Tuesday night after leaving a beverage store in Cleveland's Euclid-Green neighborhood.
Cleveland police said a 27-year-old man was shot in the chest outside Euclid Lite Beverage Store, located at 18314 Euclid Ave.
Officers on scene learned that the victim exchanged words with the shooter who was also parked outside the store. As the victim drove away with a 27-year-old woman inside, the shooter shot a rifle at their vehicle.
The victim drove out of the parking lot before coming to a stop on the 17720 block of Euclid Avenue where the female passenger called 911.
The victim who died from injuries was identified as 27-year-old Ashtin Williams, of Cleveland.
Police did not release any information on the shooter's identity.
