The Social Security office, located on 1240 E. 9th St. in downtown, will be closed from July 18 to July 22, the duration of the Republican National Convention.
The office will reopen on July 25. Officials are closing the office in anticipation of huge crowds drawn to the downtown area for the convention.
Online, telephone and in-person services will still be available at a number of other locations. Residents living in the Cleveland Metro area may conduct business at any Social Security office. The nearest offices are:
