A 60-year-old man was killed in a crash involving a City of Cleveland Water Department truck on State Route 176 Thursday.
According to Cleveland police, a 58-year-old man was driving on the highway when he saw that a tire had come off a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Karim Danial.
The 58-year-old drove onto the right shoulder and grass to avoid the tire.
Danial then drove onto the shoulder as well, hitting the truck from behind.
Danial was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
