Services for former Cleveland mayor, U.S. senator and Ohio governor George Voinovich are planned for Wednesday and Thursday in Northeast Ohio, with a burial mass on Friday.
Friends and family will gather at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Homes & Crematory in Willoughby Hills on Wednesday between 2 and 4 p.m. and 5 and 8 p.m.
A public viewing will be held at the Cleveland City Hall Rotunda, located at 601 Lakeside Ave., on Thursday from 10 a.m until 4 p.m. The program will begin at 2 p.m.
The Christian Burial Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, located at 19951 Lake Shore Blvd., in Euclid) at 10 a.m. on Friday. The burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery, 10366 Chardon Rd., in Willoughby.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Molly Voinovich Memorial Fund c/o Cleveland Foundation (1422 Euclid Ave, Cleveland OH 44115), the Catholic Education Endowment Fund (1401 East 9th St, Cleveland OH 44114) or to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School (177 East 201st St, Euclid OH 44123).
