The I-90 bridge will be closed from Friday until Sunday morning in both the east and westbound directions this weekend.
City officials are urging downtown drivers who usually use the bridge to opt for I-490 and I-77 instead. Downtown motorists will be able to enter I-90 westbound from both East 9th Street and Ontario Streets while it's closed.
Other Weekend Closures:
- The I-90 eastbound exit ramp to East 9th Street will be closed Friday through Saturday morning.
- Saturday morning from 6 a.m. until noon, East 9th Street will be closed between Orange and Carnegie Avenues.
- Saturday from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m., I-90 westbound access to I-71 South will be closed. Drivers will be rerouted to West 44th Street, exit and re-enter I-90 eastbound to I-71 southbound.
