A passenger was arrested on March 21 after the Transportation Security Administration reported finding a loaded gun inside a carry on bag.
Around 7:30 p.m., a loaded Smith and Wesson gun was found in a passenger's carry on at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport north checkpoint, the Transportation Security Administration reported.
TSA said the passenger was arrested on a state charge.
According to TSA, this was the sixth gun found at a Hopkins checkpoint in 2016. In 2015, a total of 10 guns were found at Hopkins.
