Strong winds ravaged the Cleveland area Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, wreaking havoc on trees and power lines, and causing thousands of power outages.

One neighborhood near the Cleveland/Euclid border had an up close and personal view of mother nature's fury. Howling winds ripped a massive tree out of the ground by the roots on the 18000 block of Landseer Road, which is just a few blocks away from the Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School.

The tree caused minor roof damage to a home when it fell across the yards of several houses, the owners of which are either unlucky or very lucky, depending how you choose to look at it.
