CLEVELAND — A homicide investigation is underway after a 42-year-old man was shot and killed outside of a laundromat in Cleveland Saturday afternoon.
Around 3:45 p.m., officers were called to the 4400 block of Clark Avenue for reports of a man shot, police said.
Once on scene, officers found a 42-year-old man in the rear lot of Express Laundry Service with multiple gunshot wounds to his arm and chest, according to police.
Officers rendered first aid to the man until EMS arrived and transported him to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The initial investigation indicates the man was involved in a verbal altercation with an individual at the laundromat and the individual shot him before fleeing in a vehicle, according to police.
The incident remains under investigation.
