How safe are Cleveland hospitals?

A new Hospital Safety Score report reveals just that.

The Leapfrog Group released the report, which analyzes the safety of hospitals across the nation, this week.

According to The Leapfrog Group website, the rating represents "a hospital’s overall performance in keeping patients safe from preventable harm and medical errors."

University Hospitals Case Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital were the only two Cleveland hospitals that earned A grades.

St. Vincent Charity Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation received B grades.

MetroHealth Medical Center was given a C grade.
