CLEVELAND — The Ohio Department of Transportation is closing a portion of I-77 as crews work to widen and replace the I-77 bridge over I-490 in Cleveland, according to a release.
Beginning Friday, May 15 at 8 p.m. through Monday, May 18 at 5 a.m., the closure will have the following impacts:
- I-77 northbound between I-480 and Broadway Ave. will be closed. The detour will be I-480 westbound to SR 176 northbound to I-490 eastbound to Broadway Ave. north to I-77.
- I-480 eastbound and westbound ramps to I-77 northbound will be closed. The detour will be I-480 to SR 176 northbound to I-490 eastbound to Broadway Ave. north to I-77.
- I-77 northbound to I-490 westbound will be closed. The detour will be Pershing Ave. north to I-490 west.
- Limited local access will be maintained within the I-77 closure.
The completion of this project is slated for Summer 2020.
