What started off as a normal night of picking up and dropping off riders turned into a scary encounter for one Uber driver.

"I was thinking really, what do I gotta do to get out of here," said Kevin Burke.

Burke says he was heading toward the Flats to pick up a passenger when he saw a car with its brights on.

"I grew up out in the country, its kind of common courtesy you flash your lights once if its like a deer or if your high beams are on or kind of whatever it is," said the Uber driver.

Then out of the corner of his eye, Burke says he noticed that same driver make a U-turn, so he quickly turned the corner to get away. That's when the angry driver cut him off. The entire incident was captured on his car's dash camera.

"He pulled out what looked to be a pistol and pointed it at me," he said. "I didn't freak out, I didn't get upset I just got the heck out of there."

Although terrifying, Burke says he will continue to drive for Uber.

"This isn't going to deter me, one rotten apple isn't going to spoil it for everybody," said Burke.

Burke did file a police report and Cleveland officers are investigating.
