Julie Leroy was charged with failure to comply with a lawful order and aggravated disorderly conduct in Cleveland Municipal Court on Thursday morning.

According to officials, Leroy was allegedly one of many protesters who was involved in the burning of an American flag in downtown Cleveland on Wednesday

Leroy was scheduled to be arraigned in court at 8:30 a.m. She entered a plea of not guilty.

Leroy was represented by Attorney James Hardiman, who said the woman did not pose a threat and requested her to receive a personal bond. The judge granted the request and said Leroy would have to return to court.
