Man accused of hitting Cleveland officer with ATV pleads guilty to felonious assault

CLEVELAND — A man accused of hitting a Cleveland police officer with an ATV during a traffic stop in August has pleaded guilty to charges connected to the incident, according to court documents.

On Tuesday, Jordan Butler, 26, pleaded guilty to felonious assault and failure to comply with order, signal of police officer, according to court documents.

The incident happened on Aug. 11 near the intersection of East 55th Street and St. Clair Avenue.

Butler was found after someone called in an anonymous tip, according to police.

Butler is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 15 at 10 a.m.
