Police have found and arrested a man who stole several lobster tails from a Giant Eagle by putting them in his pants.

On Sept. 16 around 2:20 p.m., Solon officers went to the Giant Eagle located at 34310 Aurora Rd. and were told by security that a man, identified as John J. Gaglione, took several items from the seafood counter and placed them in a baby seat in his cart. He then pushed his cart past the pet aisle, placed eight lobster tails in his pants and left the store.

A worker at the seafood counter told Giant Eagle security she remembered helping Gaglione when he requested the eight lobster tails, valued at $80.38.

An arrest warrant was issued for Gaglione on Sept. 17. He was arrested by Solon police on Sept. 22.
