A man who was shot in the head on Monday in a suspected homicide has died, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
Cleveland police reported a man shot in the head in the 6000 block of Lawn Avenue.
The medical examiner's office identified the victim as Julio Perez, 41, of Cleveland. Police originally reported the victim to be 25 years old.
Perez was taken by EMS to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was treated and pronounced dead, according to the medical examiner. The hospital reported the incident as a suspected homicide.
