Two teens were arrested Sunday in connection with a shooting and crash that involved three police cruisers, leaving one officer injured.

"It was something unbelievable," said an East 127th St. resident who witnessed the crash. "I was trying to run in the house and get my kids in the house safely as fast as I can."

The resident added that she was so close to the incident that she almost got hit.

"I had to leap out of the way into my grass, my bushes," she said.

Cleveland police said the officer has minor injuries, which did not require a visit to the hospital.

Police also said that officers were following the 17-year-old suspects wanted for shooting into a house on Holborn Avenue.

"All of a sudden, we hear commotion, gun shuts and by the time I got to the door, I saw a black Jeep, a conversion van," said Rodriguez Cleveland, a witness. "They were all shooting at each other."

The crash happened around 5 pm at the intersection of East 127th Street and Corlett Avenue.

Three zone cars were damaged and one officer was injured.

The teens were arrested for felonious assault and grand theft of a motor vehicle.
