Mechanical issues forced buses to replace trains on the Green Line, heading from Shaker Square to Green Road in Cleveland Heights.
Full service has been restored to the the Green Line, and is expected to remain that way for the rest of the day.
According to an RTA official, an obstacle was on the track, blocking the train's progress. Delays lasted about about 40 minutes.
