Tim Tebow said Thursday that reports that he will be speaking at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next week are just rumors.
"I woke up this morning to find out I'm speaking at the Republican National Convention," Tebow said in a video posted to his social media accounts. "It's amazing how fast rumors fly. And that's exactly what it is, a rumor."
The New York Times reported Thursday that the Heisman winner would be speaking on the fourth night of the convention.
A partial list of speakers was released by the Host Committee this week. Tebow was not on it. View that list here.
