CLEVELAND — A water main break has closed West 3rd Street in downtown Cleveland between Lakeside Avenue and the Shoreway ramp on Tuesday morning.
Downtown traffic issue: Water main break on West 3rd near Lakeside. Traffic can exit West 3rd but you'll have to go north and use Al Lerner or do a U-turn and go back to E9th. Sidewalks near the RTA station are covered in ice.
The water main break is flooding the street and nearby sidewalks. Drivers can exit the Shoreway by using West 3rd Street, but you will have to turn on Al Lerner back to East 9th Street, or do a U-turn and go back to East 9th Street.
It's unknown at this time when the road will reopen.
