Woman in her 30s stabbed multiple times in Cleveland's Public Square, police say

CLEVELAND — A woman was stabbed on Memorial Day in Cleveland’s Public Square, and a man has been arrested, according to Jennifer Ciaccia, a spokesperson for the Cleveland Police Department.

Police say at around 9:00 p.m. a woman in her early 30s was stabbed multiple times at 100 Public Square.

The victim was taken by EMS to MetroHealth Medical Center.

Ciaccia confirmed that a man was quickly arrested near the scene.

This is the fourth stabbing to occur over Memorial Day weekend.
