After spending months planning their Florida wedding on a Saint Petersburg beach, Jason and Nina Lowe had to change everything and make new plans in just 48 hours.
The Lowe's moved their wedding to Orrville.
Nina is from nearby Wooster.
Their plans to get married on the Florida coast Saturday were called off as Hurricane Irma moves up the Florida coast.
The couple wanted to dodge the dangerous weather, and didn't want guests to get stranded after the hurricane.
The newlyweds, who now live in Tampa, said it's been an emotional couple of days.
Their thoughts and prayers are with their fellow Floridians.
"Hopefully people got out that can and whoever hasn't is prepared to make it through," said Nina Lowe.
The bride and groom said all of the hectic last minute wedding changes were just a small bump in the road.
"It's not about the wedding day. It's about life after this and being with who you want to be with and having your family around you and all of this support. Material things don't matter as long as you have everything that you need and I have that right here," said Nina.
Ohio's nice weather made for a blissful wedding day.
