A local pizza delivery driver was moved to tears by the generosity of a Mentor church after they left him a surprising tip.

The man, 22-year-old Jeff Louis, posted a video showing his emotional reaction on YouTube, and it has since been viewed more than 2 million times.

Louis said he was called into work at Gionino's Pizza early for a delivery on Nov. 22 when "the most amazing thing happened."

He made the delivery at Life Point Church, but while he was there they told him to come up on stage.

"This whole church came up and gave me over $700 for a tip," he said in the video.

"It’s just truly amazing you know," he said in tears. "I’ve been having such a hard time lately to stay clean and everything and I’m just trying to get my life back and it just really truly amazes me that people who don’t even know me wanted to help me out that much."

The church's pastor, Ken Wright, told ABC News that the tip was spontaneous. He said the church "had a record month of giving in September" and he had "predetermined" that whoever would deliver the pizza that day would get $100. But then he asked the congregation if anyone else wanted to contribute to the tip, and people just started lining up, ABC News reported.

Louis ended the video saying he was "blessed."
