A 6-year-old girl was injured after falling out of an apartment window in Ashland earlier this week and now her father is facing charges.
Police were called to an apartment building Wednesday just before 4 p.m. for a report of a child who had fallen out a third-floor window.
When emergency responders arrived, they found the 6-year-old girl with injuries. She was transported to Samaritan Hospital for treatment.
After further investigation, officers determined there was probable cause to arrest the girl's 62-year-old father, Phillip Elliot.
Elliot was charged with child endangerment and taken to the Ashland County Jail.
The case is being reviewed by the Ashland County Prosecutor's Office.
