ASHTABULA, Ohio — The Ashtabula County Animal Protective League is running a special in order to find forever homes for animals at the shelter.
Ashtabula County APL is adopting out any animal that was brought to the shelter before March for just a donation. Animals brought in after March are being adopted out for 50% off.
Kittens and puppies under six months are excluded from the special, the shelter said.
Typically, adult dogs are adopted for $110 and senior dogs are adopted for $50, while adult cats are adopted for $50 and senior cats are adopted for $25.
The special adoption rates will be honored throughout the month of August.
