A man who forced his way into his ex-girlfriend's Parma home and repeatedly stabbed her and her motherhas been sentenced to 32 years in prison.
Joshua Harvey, 18, was sentenced on Wednesday after previously pleading to attempted aggravated murder, attempted murder, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and felonious assault.
When he forced his way into the home on November 12, 2017, Harvey stabbed his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend and her mother in the head, face, neck and hands, causing serious injuries. The mother spoke in court during Harvey's sentencing and said Harvey had a chance to leave at one point, but came back and attacked her and her daughter.
Harvey also spoke in court and apologized to the family.
