SOLON, Ohio — Four women were arrested last week by Solon police officers and members of the Cuyahoga County Human Trafficking Task Force conducting an undercover prostitution sting in the city.
According to police, the four women ranged in ages from 21 to 30 and were all from Ohio.
The women were all charged with prostitution. One of the women received an additional charge of resisting arrest after she pulled a plastic bag from inside her bra, swallowed it and then fought with police when they tried to arrest her, authorities said.
The operation happened on Aug. 20 at a hotel in the 6000 block of Enterprise Parkway, according to police.
Officers said the women were contacted through various escort websites and meetings were arranged at local hotel. After meeting up with the individuals, undercover agents confirmed the price of the transaction and what specific sex act would occur. The women were then taken into custody and charged.
Officers outside the hotel stopped the driver of a vehicle who dropped one of the women off. The driver, who resides in Orlando, Florida, was charged with having a suspended license and drug possession. Authorities said that when his vehicle was searched, officers located marijuana inside the car.
