Steve Stephens, the suspect responsible for killing a man and broadcasting it on Facebook, is still at large.

In the moments leading up to Stephens killing an innocent pedestrian, he made it a point in the video to show his employee badge from his place of employment.

UPDATE: The video of the shooting was not broadcast live, as widely reported. It was recorded and then uploaded to Facebook by Stephens, according to a Facebook spokesperson. In a statement, the spokesperson said the shooting was a "horrific crime."

Steve Stephens said he worked as a case manager at Beech Brook, a behavioral health agency that primarily serves the youth. He flashed his badge throughout his video.

A Beech Brook spokesperson released this statement to News 5 regarding the tragic incident:

"We are shocked. We learned about the incident via Facebook. We are horrified. We are hoping for a quick resolution and we hope no one else is harmed."
