A Cleveland church and radio station lent helping hands to the residents of Flint, Mich. amid the city’s drinking water crisis.
On Saturday, members of the Blessed Hope Missionary Baptist Church in collaboration with 93.1 WZAK on Saturday collected 53,548 bottles and 150 gallon jugs of water that will be donated to Flint residents, the church said.

The church will continue taking donations Monday and Tuesday until 3 p.m. at 8804 Buckeye Rd. in Cleveland.
On Thursday, a regional director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency resigned in connection to the crisis.
