City officials said the body pulled from Lake Erie Thursday at Edgewater Park was that of 54-year-old Laurence Thomas also known as Larry.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Thomas through fingerprints city officials said Saturday.
Brown was reported missing from his east side home on Stockbridge Avenue on January 26th, 2016 by his family members. This was also the location he was last seen.
The family of Brown told police that it was unusual for him to not report to work or return home.
Cleveland fire officials said two people were walking along the beach when the body was spotted in the water.
