BROOKLYN, Ohio — Brooklyn has decided to opt out of Cuyahoga County's plastic bag ban.
The measure was voted in favor of the opt out by city council with a vote of 4-2.
The single-use plastic bag ban for the county will be effective on Jan 1.
Brooklyn is the first city to opt out of the ban.
