A small crowd gave Kyle Osborne a big welcome at Cleveland Hopkins airport late Saturday afternoon.

The 19-year-old LeBron James fan from New Mexico is battling terminal cancer.

Dylan Reis from Elyria was at the airport to greet Kyle.

"We're both in the cancer club so I figured he might want to see someone in a similar situation," said Reis.

Kyle, 19, was diagnosed with cancer last year. That's when he told his dad he wanted to meet the Cavs superstar. But he was too old for many charities to help. That's when one woman sent a tweet. That tweet has now been retweeted 31,000 times.

"I didn't think it could happen to me, but it did," said Osborne.

The Cleveland chapter of A Special Wish Foundation saw our story and got involved. Jason Beudert is co-founder of the charity and said they have a VIP weekend planned for Kyle and his family.

"All the cool stuff Cleveland has to offer he will get a chance to see in 48 hours," said Beudert.

The family will see Sunday's playoff game, visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and see the Christmas Story House before heading home on Monday.
