The Olmsted Community Church received a rude awakening Thursday morning when the preschool director got to work and found the school vandalized.

The preschool director told police she got to work at 7 a.m. and noticed the door to the back of the building was unlatched. When she went into the preschool area, she told police she found one of the rooms in disarray with toys scattered across the room.

Another room had "666" written on the top of a storage bin in marker, according to the police report.

The director also said the entire container of fish food was dumped into the fish tank. Some of the children's artwork had also been torn off of the walls in the hallway.

The preschool director told police she believed someone entered the building overnight and vandalized it.

Police put the building on special attention during the night shift for the next two weeks.
