A group of 7- to 9-year-old girls escorted United States and Japanese women's Olympic soccer players onto the field at FirstEnergy stadium Sunday.
The girls belong to the Cleveland Soccer Academy club, which has as part of its mission to ensure the future success of its members on and off the field.
Today's game was a friendly match between both countries as their national teams gear up to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
