A Cleveland Police officer was arrested and charged with domestic violence Monday.
A Maple Heights police report indicates that someone called police for a man and a woman fighting at the entrance to Maple Heights High School on Broadway Avenue.
The caller said that the woman, now identified as Cleveland Police Officer Shona Vanzant, was "beating up on the male" and tried to run the man over with her car.
Vanzant was arraigned in Garfield Heights Municipal Court Tuesday.
