Cleveland Police are searching for two suspects involved in a shooting that left two people injured early Sunday morning, authorities said.
Witnesses told police that the two male victims – a 29-year-old and a 28-year-old – were traveling in a car when two men exited a red-colored vehicle at East 53rd Street and Superior Avenue, and opened fire on the victims’ vehicle at around midnight. One suspect had a semi-automatic handgun, and the other had a long rifle.
Police said the 29-year-old was shot in the shoulder and arm, and the 28-year-old was shot multiple times in different areas of the body.
Both victims were taken to University Hospitals Case Medical Center for treatment.
Police described the suspects as:
Suspect 1: tall, heavyset black male wearing a ski mask and a red bandana
Suspect 2: small, skinny black male wearing a ski mask and a red bandana
