A Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority police officer and three others were injured in a two-car crash at East 89th and Hough Avenue just before 1 a.m. Tuesday.
The officer was helped from his cruiser, strapped to a backboard while standing and taken by ambulance from the scene.

The three people inside a Ford Taurus were all alert and talking. All three also went by ambulance to the hospital.
Hough Avenue had a flashing yellow light and East 89th Street had a flashing red light during the overnight hours.
The details of the crash have not yet been released.
