EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — East Cleveland police are investigating after a man was shot in the head Friday evening.
Police responded to the 1800 block of Hastings Avenue where they found a man who had been shot in the head, police said.
EMS performed CPR on the man, later identified as 46-year-old Arthur Shareef, as he was being transported to a nearby hospital, according to police.
Shareef was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
The incident remains under investigation.
