Fairview Park police said on March 13 just before 8 p.m., a resident of Fairview Village Apartments on Lorain Road called to report she was robbed in the parking lot of her complex.
The woman told police three men approached her as she was getting out of her car, claiming to have guns. They demanded her keys and purse. There was a struggle and the victim was pushed down, sustaining minor injuries. The men fled with her purse. She said one suspect fled on foot and the other two got into a Nissan or Toyota with Illinois plates.
Police said they were told no weapons were seen and the suspects did not steal the woman's car.
An officer investigating the robbery located surveillance video and still photos of the three people who tried to use the woman's credit card at a business in Cleveland.
Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects is asked to call Fairview police at 440-333-1234.
