Interstate 271 was reopened in Warrensville Heights after a gas leak closed the highway for more than an hour Tuesday.
The northbound lanes of I-271 were closed at Miles Road after a construction crew hit a high-pressure gas line, according to an Ohio Department of Transportation news release.
Motorists were being detoured onto I-480 west and can use Lee Road or Broadway Avenue to then access I-480 east to I-271 north.
The highway was reopened about 12:30 p.m.
