Following two evacuations at Kenston Middle School this week, administrators say the school will now be closed until the building's roofing project is complete.
The school was originally evacuated Tuesday after students and teachers felt sick from industrial glue fumes.
Four more staff members and three students felt ill again Wednesday, prompting administrators to close the school for the remainder of the week.
The district superintendent announced Friday that the school would be closed for the remainder of the project.
In the meantime, sixth graders will be assigned to Kenston Intermediate School to attend classes. Seventh graders will utilize the classroom facilities at Gardiner Center. Eighth graders will attend classes at the high school within their own academic wing for the majority of the day.
Monday, Oct. 9 the district will have online lessons and assignments for students to complete through Google Classroom.
Students will return to class Tuesday, at the buildings listed above.
Buses will operate on a normal schedule. Parents should drop off students at their assigned buildings.
