Kenneth Perdue, a Northeast Ohio man, is pushing to keep kids out of trouble through one of his biggest hobbies: skating.
Perdue recently started RollinBuckeyez Foundation. He pushes wellness and positivity.
“Without what we’re doing, the kids would be doing something else. even the parents,” said Perdue. “Our goal is to reach all communities.”
Perdue said his organization received a grant a to purchase 50 pairs of skates, and knee pads. He also bought a trailer to transport his mobile skating rink.
“We have skaters that are three and four all the way up to 90,” said Perdue.
Rollinbuckeyez has another date set for Friday, June 15 at Halloran Park, at 5:30 p.m.
