The fight to stop violence on Cleveland’s streets continues. Al Porter said he has used his internet radio show for the last five years to spread awareness. His resolution this year is the same as it has always been: stop crime.

“It’s the hip-hop radio workshop,” said Al Porter. “Gunfire in predominantly high crime areas. maybe we will be able to reduce crime by 25- percent. The best way to make crime decrease is through partnerships."

Porter’s partnerships include relationships with local teachers and neighbors.

"If you have a problem in Cleveland, you also have a problem in east Cleveland. You have problem in the suburbs,” said Porter.  I'm helpful, because the message started to get out. With all these partnerships, we expect to see a decrease income by 25- percent- hopefully more."
