A 41-year-old man is facing a felony-level charge of burglary after walking into a home in Lakewood and taking a gallon of milk, according to court records.
William D. James was indicted on Sept. 19 and charged with one count of petty theft and one count of burglary, a second-degree felony.
On Sept. 7, James walked into an occupied home on the 1530 block of Hopkins Avenue, grabbed a gallon of milk without the owner's permission and then left the residence, according to court documents.
He was arrested later that day.
A court date has not been set.
