The man accused of shooting and killing another man after a game of pool at Mandy's Lounge on Cleveland's west side was in court on Monday.

William Hanlan, 39, is accused of killing 24-year-old Nicholas Russell after forcing him to beg for his life when a game of pool turned violent on March 3.

According to the Cleveland Municipal Court, Hanlan was issued a no contact order with Russell's family. The case was bound over to the grand jury of Cuyahoga County Court and bond was set at $250,000. Hanlan has been ordered to stay in jail until further notice.

According to Russell's cousin Robert Fairbanks, who he was with the night he died, Hanlan shot Russell in the chest point blank. He was taken to the hospital, but died eight days later.

A warrant was issued for Hanlan's arrest last Tuesday for an aggravated murder charge. According to the arrest warrant, police believe Hanlan planned Russell's death before going to the bar night.
