A man has been indicted on aggravated murder and kidnapping charges in the death of a 33-year-old woman after allegedly admitting that he killed her.

Police said that late at night on July 27, Jiansen Liang, 33, walked into a Cleveland police station and said he killed a woman at a Fairview Park apartment.

When police arrived at the scene, they found 33-year-old Quhong Chen dead.

Liang has been indicted on charges of Aggravated Murder, Aggravated Burglary, Kidnapping, Murder, Felonious Assault, and Gross Abuse of a Corpse.

Police say Chen had lived at the Fairview Park address for about a year and a half. She and Liang were acquaintances. Fairview Park police had no prior calls involving Chen or Liang before July 27, 2017.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges may be forthcoming.
