MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Maple Heights Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened Friday afternoon near Hillgrove Avenue.
Police said they responded to a report of shots fired around 3:38 p.m. When they arrived, officers located a man who told them he was standing in his driveway when two “young juveniles” walked up to him. Two male teens then approached him from behind armed with guns and robbed him, according to police.
One of the men shot at him as they ran off towards Prayner Avenue, authorities said.
According to police, the robbery victim followed the four individuals down Franklin Road, but one of the juveniles fired several shots at him. No one was injured in the incident.
Specific descriptions of the robbers weren’t given. Authorities said one of the teens had on a red hoodie and dark pants, while the second teen had on gray hoodie and jeans. The two younger juveniles were described as person wearing a black hoodie and black pants and the other wearing a red hoodie and light pants.
