Parma Police have arrested a man for creating a fake Facebook page.
27-year old Anthony C. Novak, of Parma, was arrested for creating a fake Parma Police Facebook page called “The City of Parma Police Department.”
According to police, Novak would post “derogatory and inflammatory information” that looked as if it was being posted by the real department.
Parma police detectives worked with officials from Facebook in order to determine Novak's involvement in creating the page.
Novak was charged with one count of disrupting public services and is scheduled to appear in Parma Municipal Court next week.
