A police investigation into threatening phone calls a man made to his his mother led to his arrest for two Pizza Hut robberies that occurred in February.
During the course of the investigation police said they developed a suspicion that the man was involved in the Pizza Hut incidents.
Police said 28-year-old Jerry L. Moran was arrested in connection to those two Feb 9 and 17 robberies after they questioned Moran's mother and it was revealed clothing belonging to him matched the clothing description of the suspect.
Moran gave a full confession to both robberies after "overwhelming" evidence of his involvement was presented to him , police said.
He is scheduled to appear later in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
