An ATM stolen earlier this morning from a Harvard Avenue Rite Aid earlier was found this afternoon in the area of Kenmore and East 94th Street.
Witnesses told authorities that two black males were seen loading the ATM into a van early this morning. When police responded to the area around 5:40 a.m. they found a large hole in the wall of the store.
The ATM was found broken open and empty. The van – which was reported stolen on March 20 – was located nearby at Wade Park.
Police will continue to investigate the matter.
